Maui, HI (August 17, 2024) – On Saturday, August 17, a crash with reported victim injuries occurred in the greater Maui area, and officers with the Maui Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene to begin their investigation.

MPD officers reported that a vehicle accident took place on the Hana Highway at the Haleakala Highway around 7:25 p.m. In addition to the MPD, fire rescue crews reported to the crash site to assess the injured victims.
