Maui, HI – Bicyclist Hurt in Vehicle Crash on Haleakala Crater Rd

Maui, HI (June 12, 2025) – According to Maui officers and EMTs, a bicyclist was hit and injured by a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon, June 10.

At around 1:50 p.m., officers with the Maui Police Department responded to the area of mile marker 7 along Haleakala Crater Road. It’s unclear if the bicyclist was transported to an area hospital. Meanwhile, the roadway was closed in both directions as police investigated the scene. Witnesses were asked to come forward with additional information as soon as possible.
