Honolulu, HI (April 8, 2025) – According to local officers with the Honolulu Police Department (HPD), a crash involving multiple vehicles shut down all westbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway by Daniel K. Inouye International Airport on April 7.

The crash was reported at 7:35 p.m., and a road closure alert was issued a short time later. Traffic was diverted to the airport off-ramp, and drivers were urged to avoid the area if possible.
