Ma‘alaea, HI – Motorcycle and SUV Crash Causes Injuries on Honoapi‘ilani Hwy

Ma‘alaea, HI (December 8, 2025) – Late Sunday night, December 7, emergency crews responded to a serious motorcycle accident near the intersection of Ma‘alaea Road and Honoapi‘ilani Highway. 

The crash involved a white SUV and a motorcycle and was blocking the roadway as units from the Maui Police Department, Maui Fire Department, and medics arrived on scene. According to initial reports, a 23-year-old motorcyclist was found alert and conscious but complaining of significant back pain.
