Honolulu, HI – Two-Car Crash, Injuries Shut Down Kunia Rd

Honolulu, HI (June 22, 2025) – According to local officers with the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) and reports from witnesses to the scene, a multi-vehicle crash blocked Kunia Road on Friday afternoon, June 20.

It happened around 4:30 p.m., not far from the H-1 Freeway on-ramp. At least two vehicles collided on the right side of the roadway, and officers shut down the area for at least one hour. EMTs also reported to the site, but the severity of the victims’ injuries is unknown. In the meantime, it is also unclear how many victims were involved, but officials are investigating the incident and have not provided further details thus far.
