Honolulu, HI – Pedestrian Sustains Injuries After Being Struck by Motor Vehicle on Kapiolani Hwy

Honolulu, HI (August 28, 2022) – Officers from the Honolulu Police Department responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a driver on Sunday, August 28th.
According to officials present at the scene, the eastbound lanes of Kapiolani Boulevard were completely shut down. Two of the westbound lanes on Ward Avenue back to Kamakee Street were also closed.
Emergency Medical Services crews also responded to transport the injured pedestrian to an area hospital. Their current condition is unknown.
