Waipio, HI – Motor Vehicle Crash with Injuries on Kamehameha Hwy near Ka Uka Blvd

Waipio, HI (March 5, 2023) – Police were notified of a car crash that happened in Waipio on the afternoon of March 1. At approximately 12:13 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of the crash on the Kamehameha Highway.
Reports show the incident took place on the Kamehameha Highway near Ka Uka Boulevard. Two or more cars collided and caused injuries for those involved.
Paramedics helped those who were hurt at the scene. Seriously injured patients were taken by ambulance to local hospitals for further aid.
The details of the incident are currently being investigated by local police.
