Waipahu, HI (February 11, 2023) – Police in Waipahu were sent to the scene of a serious car crash on Wednesday morning, February 8. Sources report the incident happened between two vehicles on H-1 West. 

Information from police shows the accident occurred on H-1 near the Waiawa overpass. Emergency crews were sent to the scene to help those injured in the crash. 

According to reports, two vehicles were involved in the accident. Why they collided is being investigated by local police at this time. 

Injured victims in need of medical care were treated by EMS at the accident site. The exact number of injured parties has not currently been disclosed. 

Traffic was delayed on the highway near the Waiawa Overpass while emergency responders worked at the crash site. Police in Waipahu continue their investigations into the details of the incident.
