Waimānalo, HI (February 25, 2023) – An auto accident happened on the evening of February 24 in Waimānalo that ended in injuries. Reports show the accident happened at approximately 7:40 p.m. 

Emergency crews including EMTs, police, and fire crews were dispatched to the crash scene shortly after the incident took place. Reports show it occurred on Hihimanu Street between Mokulama Street and Kakaina Street. 

One or more people were hurt in the accident, however, the severity of their injuries has not been reported at this time. Authorities in Waimānalo continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. 

The roadway was blocked for some time while crews worked at the scene. Police urged local motorists to utilize alternative routes of travel for the time being.
