Waikiki, HI (October 31, 2023) – Two vehicles were involved in an accident on Saturday afternoon that ended in injuries. The crash was reported in the Waikiki area during the afternoon hours on October 28.

Reports from the Honolulu Police Department show that a Toyota Tacoma was traveling on Kalakaua Avenue. For reasons unknown, a 74-year-old driver switched lanes and collided with the vehicle. The force of the collision caused the Toyota to overturn and come to rest on its roof.

Emergency medical services responded to the crash site to care for the victims and transport those who required further care to area hospitals.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
