Waikapu, HI – Accident with Injuries Reported near Waiko Rd and Manea Place

Waikapu, HI (October 14, 2023) – On October 12, officers with the Maui Police Department assisted local firefighters at the scene of an automobile accident that took place during the evening hours.

The accident was reported at around 9:45 p.m.

According to reports from the police, a collision between vehicles occurred on Waiko Road by Manea Place. The incident caused disruptions in the area.

Emergency medical services were called to care for injured victims. An unknown number of people were transported to local hospitals for further medical care.

The Maui Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
