Hawaii Car Accidents

Car accidents happen in the United States and throughout Hawaii at an alarming rate. Averagely speaking, the United States sees more than 6 million car crashes per year. These accidents injure and take the lives of countless people per year. Sadly, most of them are caused by driver negligence. Drivers who are distracted, over-tired, intoxicated, and speeding put themselves and everyone they encounter on the road at serious risk of severe injuries and even fatalities.

Something as simple as checking your texts or answering a phone call could turn into a disastrous situation that can change the lives of those involved forever. Driver negligence has become one of the leading reasons people suffer severe injuries and even lose their lives in the United States.

At this point in time, over 11,000 people lose their lives per year due to speeding. When drivers speed, it reduces their ability to react if they encounter a dangerous situation, and it can make an auto accident much more dangerous. Two vehicles colliding at high speeds will almost always result in severe injuries or death for the involved parties.

In Hawaii, driver negligence is illegal. When a negligent driver causes another person to become injured, the injured party has the option to file a personal injury claim for financial compensation so they can financially recover. The costs related to sustaining a severe car accident injury can be astronomical, ranging in the tens of thousands.

Not only do serious car accidents cost a lot of money, but they can also drain your energy and time. You could be stuck in the hospital, unable to work and live your life while you undergo invasive and exhausting medical procedures.
