Wahiawa, HI – Auto Crash on Kamehameha Hwy near Whitmore Ave Causes Injuries

Wahiawa, HI (November 23, 2022) – A car crash happened in Wahiawa on the evening of November 22 that required an emergency dispatch. At around 9:22 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the wreck site in order to assist those involved. 

Crews stated that the accident took place in the southbound lanes of the Kamehameha Highway at Whitmore Avenue. What caused the accident to happen is currently under local law enforcement investigation. 

Emergency crews including police, EMTs, and fire crews were seen working at the wreck site a short time after it occurred. At least one injured party required emergency medical care on-site and transportation to the hospital. 

Traffic delays ensued in the vicinity of the crash site while emergency personnel worked in the area. Authorities asked local drivers to use alternative travel routes for the time being. 

We hope for the full and fast recovery of the injured parties. Nothing further has been reported concerning the auto accident or the injuries that followed.
