Vehicle Rollovers in Hawaii

Temple Valley, HI - Car Crash, Rollover Near Temple Valley Shopping Center Causes Injuries

When a vehicle overturns on the roadway, its occupants can be severely injured, especially if they are not properly restrained.

Rollover accidents typically cause serious injuries. Traumatic brain injury, spinal injuries, and broken bones are just a few of the injuries that a rollover crash can cause. These injuries often leave victims buried under a pile of medical bills and unable to work.

Accidents involving vehicle rollovers are ten times more likely to end in fatalities than any other kind of car crash.

If you were injured in a vehicle rollover, you could be entitled to financial recovery. Our law firm can help you recover financial compensation for:

  • Hospital and related medical expenses
  • Ongoing medical care
  • Lost wages from being out of work
  • Property damage
  • Pain and suffering

There are numerous scenarios that can lead to vehicle rollovers, but the most common causes in Hawaii include:

Vehicle Defects

SUVs, trucks, cars, and other motor vehicles need to be created and built in such as way that the occupant’s safety is paramount during an accident. Manufacturing flaws or deficiencies in the vehicle’s steering, electrical stability control feature, brakes, tires, or other components can result in preventable rollover accidents. If a defective part caused your accident, you can seek damages via a product liability claim.

Roadway Debris

Anytime a driver swerves to avoid or fails to notice debris in the roadway, they are in danger of losing control of their vehicle and potentially being involved in a rollover accident. Dropped cargo falling from poorly loaded trucks, detritus leftover from construction work, and even potholes can be the cause of a vehicle rollover serious enough to cause injuries.

Motor Vehicle Crashes

Rollover accidents can also occur when one vehicle crashes into another. Drunk driving, running red lights, speeding, and many other kinds of driver negligence can pave the way for an accident during which one or more vehicles overturn. If you were injured in a rollover crash caused by another driver’s carelessness, we can help you bring them to account.
