Punaluu, HI – Three Hurt in Crash on Kamehameha Highway

Punaluu, HI (November 16, 2023) – Several people were transported to an area hospital with injuries following an automobile accident that took place on the windward side of the island. The accident occurred just after 4:15 p.m. on November 13.

Law enforcement reports provided by the Honolulu Police Department show that a collision occurred on the Kamehameha Highway. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway for an extended period. Paramedics were requested at the scene to treat injured victims. Two women, ages 33 and 40, as well as one male victim, age 31, were all seriously injured. The victims were transported to a local trauma hospital for emergency care. The Honolulu Police Department is investigating the incident.
