Punaluu, HI (December 13, 2023) – A handful of injured victims were transported to an area hospital with injuries following a multi-vehicle accident that took place in the Punaluu area.

The accident occurred just after 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, per local authorities who responded to the scene of the wreck. Law enforcement reports provided by the Honolulu Police Department show that a collision occurred on the Kamehameha Highway. The incident prompted officials to shut down the left lanes of the roadway for about an hour, and paramedics were requested at the scene to treat injured victims.
