Road Accidents in Hawaii

Pepeekeo, HI - Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 19

Automobile accidents occur for many different reasons. In rare cases, no one is to blame but, quite often, a car accident is the result of reckless driving.

Some examples of common types of negligence that cause serious car accidents include:

  • Inattentive driving, such as driving while texting and making phone calls
  • Driving while under the influence
  • Reckless or aggressive driving
  • Poorly maintained vehicles
  • Badly designed streets or intersections

These and many other forms of negligence place countless people in harm’s way, including bicyclists, walkers, and even other drivers. When the driver of a potentially lethal object is distracted or careless for even a second, the chances of them taking a life or leaving a victim seriously injured are extremely high.
