Olowalu, HI – MPD Responds to Injury Accident on Honoapi’ilani Highway

Olowalu, HI (October 16, 2023) – Officers with the Maui Police Department were called to provide assistance at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday evening in Olowalu.
At around 7:10 p.m. on October 14, calls for assistance came in regarding an automobile accident on Honoapi’ilani Highway.
Authorities arrived at the scene and located a total of four vehicles on the side of the roadway following the collision. The incident caused some disruptions in the area as emergency crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles and tend to the injured parties.
Medics treated the victims on-site before transporting them to local hospitals for further care.
The police in Maui are currently investigating the incident.
