Nuuanu, HI – Vehicle Crash on Pali Hwy Leads to Victim Injuries

Nuuanu, HI (September 13, 2022) – A traffic accident left a victim with injuries and a tree sprawled across a roadway in the area of the Ala Moana Center on Thursday, September 8th.
Officers from the Honolulu Police Department, the Honolulu Fire Department, and other response teams closed down the westbound lanes of Kapiolani Boulevard between the First Hawaiian Bank Kapiolani Branch and Mahukona Street as police investigated the crash, paramedics tended to victims, and crews worked to remove the tree.
Witnesses indicated that one person was transported from the scene. Their current condition is unknown.
