Nanakuli, HI (November 15, 2024) – Per officials from the Honolulu Police Department, three people were rushed to the hospital on Friday morning following a major crash in Nanakuli involving multiple vehicles. Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said a 31-year-old man is in critical condition, and two others were seriously injured; both victims are men in their 30s.
The crash was reported around 5:20 a.m. near the intersection of Farrington Highway and Auyong Homestead Road, and police said one of the vehicles was overturned as a result of the incident. Crews with the Honolulu Fire Department also responded and used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate a person trapped in one of the vehicles. As officials responded to the incident, multiple lanes on Farrington Highway were shut down in both directions. In the interim, no additional information has been disclosed. Authorities in Nanakuli are still investigating the circumstances of the accident.
