Nanakuli, HI – One Hurt in Four-Vehicle Wreck on Farrington Hwy

Nanakuli, HI (August 18, 2024) – In Nanakuli on Sunday morning, August 18, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) responded to a four-vehicle accident.
HFD officials were dispatched to a reported motor vehicle collision near 89-102 Farrington Hwy in Nanakuli at approximately 6:10 a.m. Shortly thereafter, HFD personnel arrived at the scene and found that one of the individuals involved in the crash was confined to their vehicle. HFD stabilized the vehicles, and hydraulic rescue tools were employed to extract the victim from the vehicle. Then, at around 6:30 a.m., the individual was transferred to the Emergency Medical Services.
HFD transferred command to the Honolulu Police Department after securing the site. In the interim, no additional information has been disclosed. Authorities in Nanakuli are still investigating the circumstances of the accident.
