Hawaii Car Crashes

Car accidents happen every day in Hawaii. Tens of thousands suffer injuries in these crashes yearly, while some even lose their lives. Those who end up hurt in collisions must often face difficult consequences related to their injuries. Not only are they painful, but they can also result in financial burdens that can be hard to tackle alone.

If you or someone you love were recently hurt in an accident, you may be suffering from emotional trauma and debilitating injuries. Depending on the severity of your injuries, you may be stuck in the hospital for a lengthy period of time. You may be unable to return to work which could result in financial strain. Consequently, you may be worrying about the expenses that stem from your accident. Sustaining a severe car crash injury can cost anywhere from 10 to 50k, on average.

Statistics concerning auto collisions in the United States show that the majority are caused by driver negligence. Driver intoxication, speeding, driver distraction, and fatigue are the four leading types of driver negligence in Hawaii and across the country. Negligent drivers are responsible for 9 out of every 10 car accidents in the United States. These facts point to the high probability of your accident being caused by a negligent driver.

If you are under the impression that a negligent driver caused your crash, you may qualify for financial compensation that can help pay for your damages. The expenses related to your medical care, vehicle repairs, wage loss, and other damages may be able to be paid for by way of financial compensation when you file a personal injury claim with an attorney.

You deserve to be fully compensated for the losses you may have incurred related to your crash. The insurance company may attempt to get you to settle for less compensation than you’re entitled to, but with the help of a personal injury lawyer in Hawaii, you’ll be able to get the maximum compensation available for your injuries and losses.
