Mililani, HI – Accident Reported at Mākaʻikaʻi St & ʻĀinamakua Dr

Mililani, HI (October 7, 2023) – The Honolulu Police Department was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a motor vehicle accident in which at least one person suffered injuries.

Calls for help came in at around 5:35 p.m. on October 6.

According to officials, a collision between vehicles blocked ʻĀinamakua Drive in the area of Mākaʻikaʻi Street. The incident prompted authorities to close down the roadway briefly while working to remove damaged vehicles and debris.

Medics were dispatched to care for those in need of medical treatment. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
