Maui, HI – Vehicle Accident Ends in Injuries on Ka’ahumanu Ave near Akami Motors in Kahului

Maui, HI (August 30, 2023) – A serious car crash occurred in Maui on the night of August 30. At around 9:30 p.m., responders went to the scene to help the people involved and investigate the circumstances of the accident. 

It occurred on Ka’ahumanu Avenue near Akami Motors in Kahului between an unspecified number of vehicles. At least one person suffered injuries in the accident; however, at this time, the extent of those injuries has not been reported. 

Police in Maui are still working to determine how the accident took place. The roadway was blocked for some time while crews worked to clear the scene.
