Maui, HI – Two-Car Crash on Hana Hwy & Elmer Cravalho Way

Maui, HI (August 18, 2024) – A two-vehicle crash occurred on Saturday afternoon, August 18, and local officers with the Maui Police Department (MPD) reported to the scene to investigate.

Shortly before 4:20 p.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene. The incident apparently involved at least two vehicles, including a blue van and a gray Toyota SUV, that collided along Hana Highway at Mayor Elmer Cravalho Way. Potential victim injuries were also reported, requiring MPD officers and Maui Fire Department squads to respond.
