Hawaii Vehicle Collisions

Car accidents are one of the main problems that lead to individuals losing their lives in the United States. In 2021, more than 40,000 individuals lost their lives in car crashes across the nation. The previous year, this number was approximately 10% lower. This is the largest yearly increase currently recorded by the National Highway Traffic Association. Due to the fact that so many people need their vehicles to get from point A to point B, we tend to shy away from the truth of how dangerous travel like this can be.

In Hawaii, thousands sustain injuries in auto collisions each year. Sadly, hundreds of people end up losing their lives in car crashes per year in Hawaii. No one wants to suffer injuries in an auto crash. However, it happens constantly. The Bureau of Transportation Statistics reported that each minute in the US, approximately 13 auto accidents happen. Roughly 27% of all car crashes result in injuries, which is equal to three injury crashes every 60 seconds.

According to estimates made by car insurance companies, the odds of you being involved in a car crash during a trip of about 1,000 miles is about 1 in 366. The average driver files an insurance claim for a car accident about once every 18 years. When you or someone you love is hurt in a car accident with another person, it’s important to be able to figure out whose fault the accident was. If you determine that the other party is responsible, they need to be held liable for the damages you face.
