Maui, HI – Three-Vehicle Collision on Honoapi’ilani Hwy near Akahele St Ends in Injuries

Maui, HI (July 14, 2023) – A car crash happened in Maui on the night of July 11 that ended in injuries. Emergency crews received calls concerning the collision at around 11:30 p.m. 

At least one person suffered injuries in the accident that happened between three vehicles on the Honoapi’ilani Highway near Akahele Street in Kahana. The Maui Police Department and the Maui Fire Department responded to the scene to render aid to the individuals involved in the crash. 

At this time, the cause of the incident is still under investigation. The vehicles involved in the accident blocked the roadway for an extended period of time, causing significant traffic delays and forcing local drivers to use alternate routes.
