Maui, HI (December 8, 2023) – A crash reported on Thursday evening, December 7, reportedly involved a vehicle and a bicyclist, according to Maui Police Department officers. A report of a vehicle that hit a 15-year-old juvenile on a bicycle on Olina Street in Kahului came in shortly after 7:15 p.m. The child sustained an injury to his leg, and MPD/ MFD medics responded to transfer the teen to a local medical center. At this time, the crash is being investigated by the local officers. No other injuries were reported, but police asked witnesses to step forward.
