Maui, HI – Pedestrian Injured in Crash on Hwy Hana near Municipal Parking Lot

Maui, HI (May 19, 2023) – A pedestrian was injured in a traffic accident in Maui on May 18. At approximately 9:00 p.m., emergency responders went to the scene to help those involved. 

Crews were seen rendering aid at the crash site on the Hana Highway near the Municipal Parking Lot in Paia. The pedestrian suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital for care. 

Sources say a female pedestrian suffered injuries in the crash. At this time, her name has not been reported. 

No further information has been reported concerning the circumstances of the accident.
