Maui, HI – Pedestrian Crash Causes Injuries on Kaohu St

Maui, HI (June 14, 2023) – A pedestrian crash injured a man in Wailuku, Maui on Wednesday afternoon, June 14. At approximately 3:00 p.m., the crash happened on Kaohu Street.
Reports show the incident took place when a vehicle struck a parked work truck in the 1000 block of Kaohu Street. The worker who was driving the vehicle was outside at the time and fell onto the windshield due to the impact of the crash.
The worker, only identified as a male, was removed from the windshield by paramedics and taken to a local hospital. His name has not been reported.
Emergency responders remained on-site for some time on Wednesday afternoon in order to render aid and investigate. Currently, the cause of the incident remains unknown.
