Maui, HI (June 2, 2024) – A crash with reported victim injuries occurred in Maui on Sunday afternoon, June 2, and officers with the Maui Police Department responded to the scene to begin their investigation.

MPD officers were first notified of the crash at about 3:45 p.m. and said that the incident involved at least two vehicles along Old Haleakala Highway and Pukakani Street. In addition to the MPD, Engine 6 reported to the site of the crash to assess the injured victims. However, information on the total number of victims, as well as the extent of their injuries, was not provided publicly. MPD officers asked witnesses to get in touch as they launched an inquiry into the cause of the accident.
