Maui, HI – Moped Rider Hurt in Vehicle Accident near Maui Banyan in Kihei

Maui, HI (November 26, 2024) – Officers with the Maui Police Department (MPD) reported an accident involving a report of a vehicle that hit a moped in Kihei on Tuesday, November 26.

Area police and Emergency Medical Services responded to the crash, located near Maui Banyan, around 8:00 p.m. First responders added that the moped rider suffered unknown injuries, and they were reportedly transported to an area hospital for further care and evaluation.
