Maui, HI – Moped Rider Hospitalized in Collision on Lahaina Byp at Keawe St

Maui, HI (September 4, 2024) – According to officers with the Maui Police Department, authorities reported an accident between a moped and a vehicle in the area of the Lahaina Bypass and Keawe Street in Lahaina on Wednesday evening, September 4.

The crash happened just after 5:00 p.m., and officials confirmed that the moped rider was injured in the incident. At this time, it’s unknown if speed, drugs, or alcohol are factors in the crash.
