According to local officers, calls for assistance came in at around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Officers with the MPD, area firefighters, and Maui emergency medical services also reported to the scene, which was located on Kane Street. The incident blocked the juncture, and Engine 10 responded with the MPD to assess the site.
