Car Accident Injuries in Hawaii

Every year, all too many people sustain injuries in car accidents happening in Hawaii. Each day, innocent people are hurt as a result of automobile accidents that take place right here in our states. Unfortunately, any type of automobile accident can result in severe injuries for those involved.

Head-on collisions are among the most devastating, resulting in catastrophic and life-threatening injuries for those involved. These accidents occur when two vehicles traveling in opposite directions collide head-on. The impact of the collision can cause the vehicles to crumple, and the occupants can be thrown from the vehicles. Head-on collisions can result in a variety of injuries, including:

  • Spinal cord injuries: These injuries can cause paralysis and can be life-threatening.
  • Traumatic brain injuries (TBIs): TBIs are caused by a blow or jolt to the head and can range from mild concussions to severe brain damage.
  • Broken bones: The force of the impact can cause broken bones in any part of the body.
  • Internal organ injuries: The impact of a head-on collision can cause damage to the internal organs, including the lungs, heart, and liver.
