Maui, HI (July 7, 2023) – In the early morning hours of July 7, a serious car crash happened in Maui. The incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. when multiple vehicles collided on Omaopio Road, sources said.
Authorities say the incident took place on Omaopio Road near Pulehu Road. One or more people suffered injuries in the accident; however, the nature of the injuries has not been reported.
Maui Police responded to the scene, along with paramedics and fire crews. Why the crash happened is still being investigated.
