Maui, HI (May 23, 2024) – On Wednesday afternoon, May 22, at least one person was injured in a hit-and-run collision, according to Maui Police officers.
At approximately 2:45 p.m., officers received a report of a hit-and-run with the driver of a truck involved, who fled the scene of the crash, which occurred along East Lipoa Street. Engine 6 and MPD responded, and paramedics transferred the victim to an area hospital. However, her current condition is unknown.
