Hawaii Car Crashes

Car crashes happen constantly throughout the United States. Every year, more than 6 million auto accidents are reported. This is equal to about 17,000 crashes per day. Of these wrecks, more than 7,500 people sustain injuries, and over 100 lose their lives daily. Alarmingly, the majority of the auto collisions reported in the United States and across the Aloha State are caused by the actions of negligent drivers.

Negligent driving has become a serious issue throughout the country, especially in the past decade. This is most likely due to the constant use of smartphones in our society. People feel the need to check their phones even while behind the wheels of moving vehicles, which can prove to be disastrous and even deadly behavior. Driver distraction causes more than 400,000 car crashes every year in the United States, a large percentage of which end in injuries and fatalities.

If you or someone you love has been hurt by the actions of a distracted or otherwise negligent driver, you deserve to be able to recover without having to worry. A skilled car crash attorney in Honolulu can help you file a personal injury claim for compensation so you can get the money you need to pay for things like:

  • Medical bills
  • Vehicle repairs
  • Wage loss
  • Pain
  • Suffering
  • Loss of enjoyment of life
  • Emotional turmoil
  • Etc

Obviously, it is not easy to place a price on intangible damages like pain and suffering. However, you will be able to collect compensation for non-economic damages depending on the nature and severity of your collision and the effect it had on your life, health, and overall well-being.
