Hawaii Vehicle Accidents

Hawaii sees tens of thousands of car crashes every single year, the majority of which end in only property damage. However, a percentage of these crashes do cause injuries and even fatalities for the people involved. Throughout the United States, over 6 million car crashes are reported every year, about half of which end in severe injuries, and even fatalities. Additionally, about 40,000 people end up losing their lives every year and auto accidents in the United States.

Sadly, most of these crashes are caused by negligent driving. Negligent driving can be displayed in countless ways including distraction, fatigue, speeding, and intoxication. Some statistics related to negligent driving in the United States include the fact that over 30% of the fatality rate related to car crashes in the US at this time can be attributed to intoxicated driving. Additionally, more than 100,000 car crashes per year are caused by drivers who are overtired while behind the wheel.
