Maui, HI (July 7, 2023) – A serious car crash happened in Maui on the evening of July 7. At around 6:00 p.m., responders went to the scene on the Honoapi’ilani Highway to help the people involved. 

Several responders were seen rendering aid at the crash site, located on the Honoapi’ilani Highway near Ho’ohui Road in Kahana. Two vehicles collided in the area, causing injuries to the people involved. 

Paramedics helped the people who were hurt at the scene, and those with serious injuries were sent to the hospital for treatment. Their names have not been reported at this time. 

The vehicles blocked the roadway for an extended time period, causing significant delays in traffic. Police are still working to determine the cause of the collision.
