Maui, HI – 15-Year-Old Bicyclist Struck by Car, Injured on Crater Rd

Maui, HI (August 3, 2023) – A pedestrian was injured in a traffic accident in Maui on the evening of August 2. At around 5:00 p.m., emergency crews went to the scene of the collision, including police and EMTs.
Reports show a vehicle struck a 15-year-old bicyclist in the area of mile marker 2 on Crater Road. The cause of the accident has not been reported at this time.
The bicyclist was treated by EMS at the scene and taken to the hospital for care of an injury to their arm. Police in Maui continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
