House Fire Injuries in Hawaii

Makaha, HI - Woman Injured in House Fire on Kepue St

If you sustained a serious burn injury, it is possible that a negligent person is to blame. A large percentage of house and apartment fires are due to a property owner’s or landlord’s failure to maintain their property or blase attitude regarding their resident’s safety.

Burn injuries resulting from explosions are not uncommon in motor vehicle or industrial accidents. In these and numerous other types of accidents, you may be able to hold an individual, entity, or both accountable for your injuries.

Burn injuries are frequently caused by incidents such as:

  • Gas explosions
  • Defective electrical equipment
  • Car accidents
  • Flammable textiles
  • Battery acid
  • Faulty home appliances
  • Defective carbon monoxide and smoke detectors
  • Improper handling of scalding liquids
  • Bleach and ammonia products

A lot of situations can result in victims sustaining life-altering injuries stemming from the blatant negligence of landlords, contractors, property owners, building managers, and product manufacturers. When someone is seriously injured in a residential fire incident that was caused by another’s negligence, they are usually eligible to bring a personal injury claim against the person liable.
