Kuau, HI (October 22, 2023) – A pedestrian accident reported on Friday left one person injured. The accident occurred just after 4:00 p.m. on October 20.
Police reports provided by the Maui Police Department show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Hana Highway in the area of Meha Place.
The pedestrian was injured as a result of the crash. Medics responded to care for the victim on site. The pedestrian was then transported to a local hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
The incident is currently being investigated by the Maui Police Department.
