Kihei, HI – Injuries Reported in Crash on Pi’ilani Highway near Kilohana St

Kihei, HI (October 14, 2023) – On Thursday, the Maui Police Department and area firefighters were called to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in Kihei and ended in injuries.

The accident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on October 12.

According to law enforcement, vehicles collided on Pi’ilani Highway just south of Kilohana Street during the evening hours. The incident prompted the police to shut down the roadway while assisting.

Emergency medical personnel responded to the crash to care for injured parties and transferred them to local medical facilities.

The crash is being investigated by the police in Maui.
