Kaneohe, HI – One Dead After Structure Fire on Pulama Rd

Kaneohe, HI (August 13, 2022) – According to the Honolulu Medical Examiner, a man passed away after he was hospitalized with critical burns he sustained during a building fire in Kaneohe on Saturday, August 13th.
Fire crews responded to reports of a structure fire on Pulama Road at about 5:30 a.m.
As they were responding to the scene, the crews were informed that the fire was out but one person had been badly burned.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services treated the 72-year-old man and transported him to a nearby hospital in critical condition. He passed away a short while later.
