Hawaii Automobile Crashes and Victim Injuries

Kalihi, HI - Multi-Vehicle Injury Collision on Highway H1 WB at Likelike & VineyardAutomobile collisions are sometimes triggered by a single event beyond the control of the driver. An automobile accident, on the other hand, is far more likely to have several causes that culminate in a single tragic event. Even while no driver is always at fault, the great majority of fatal automobile collisions are caused by reckless driving by one or more drivers.

Typical instances of driver carelessness that often result in catastrophic automobile collisions include:

  • Drivers who are listening to the radio, texting, or talking on the phone
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Drivers who are thoughtless or irresponsible
  • Those who neglect to maintain their automobiles

Daily, thousands of individuals, including walkers, joggers, toddlers, bicyclists, and even other automobile occupants, are placed in danger by these and other unsafe actions.

When a person in control of a weapon capable of ending life is irresponsible, inattentive, or careless for even a short time, the probability of someone being killed or injured is high.

Hawaii has adopted a no-fault vehicle insurance system. This suggests that injured parties must file a claim with their insurance provider for payment of medical expenses, regardless of the cause.

If a car accident leaves you with severe injuries, medical expenses over $5,000, disfigurement, or permanent impairment, you may be eligible to seek monetary compensation from the irresponsible driver.

After a serious car accident, a Hawaii vehicle collision attorney with decades of experience dealing with and knowing Hawaii’s state-specific regulations and laws may provide sage, trustworthy advice on the most effective method to get the financial compensation you are owed. It is our duty to hold the motorist at fault liable for any losses and damages they cause.
