Kalihi, HI – Injury Accident Reported on H-1 near Kalihi Overpass

Kalihi, HI (April 15, 2023) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital following a crash that took place on Friday evening in Kalihi. At approximately 4:25 p.m. on April 14, the Honolulu Police Department responded to the scene of an automobile collision on H1.
Reports show the vehicles collided on the eastbound side of the roadway near the Kalihi overpass. The incident caused some delays in traffic near the Likelike exit as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
At least one person suffered injuries in the accident and had to be transported to a local medical facility.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
