Kalihi, HI – Injuries Reported in Car Accident on Alakawa St

Kalihi, HI (January 6, 2023) – Authorities were sent to the scene of a car wreck in Kalihi that caused injuries. On January 6, at approximately 11:27 a.m., EMTs and other responders were alerted of an injury accident on Alakawa Street.

Police reports show that a vehicle collision occurred on Alakawa Street near Costco. At least one person was hurt in the collision.

Traffic was slowed in the area while the scene was under investigation. Paramedics helped injured victims and transported extensively injured patients to area hospitals. The involved parties have not been identified at this time. 

The details of the accident are under investigation by police in Kalihi.
