Kalihi, HI (November 15, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Kalihi area resulted in injuries. Calls for assistance came in at around 6:30 a.m. on November 13. Officers with the Honolulu Police Department, firefighters, and emergency medical services responded.
Authorities reported that a collision between vehicles occurred on Nimitz Highway, blocking multiple lanes on the eastbound side of the road. Authorities closed off the highway near Alakawa Street as they provided assistance. Three tow trucks were called to the scene to remove the involved vehicles.
