Kailua, HI (December 5, 2022) – A car accident happened on the evening of December 5 in Kailua. Sources say the incident occurred shortly after 9:00 p.m. 

According to reports surrounding the incident, vehicles crashed on the Kalanianaole Highway near Auloa Road in Maunawili. At least one person was in need of emergency medical attention at the crash scene. 

Paramedics rendered aid to those involved and transported injured patients to local hospitals. The names of the drivers and passengers in the crash have not been reported at this time. 

Tow trucks were seen removing the damaged vehicles from the wreck site. Authorities in Kailua continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
